Hey guys, I had an idea for a detachable snorkel I wanted to run by you. I really want a snokel, but there's no way I want one on 24/7. Plus I'd rather not cut the firewall or my fender.

I was thinking about buying a 3" or 4" cowl induction hood and putting on a filter cover like one from here http://www.ramairbox.com/parts.html. I would probably use the cover that has the one round input and face it backwards.

Then when I go wheelin, I could plug PVC into that input, out the cowl induction hole, across the base of the windshield and probably up the pillar.

Anyone tried this or have any input on it. Thanks!!
