I just put a detroit locker in my 14 bolt ff. I could not find what type of gear oil I should use for it in the instructions. I did a search as well, still nothing. Can someone tell me what I need to put in it?

    Thanks,
    Mike.

Just your normal diff oil. You don't need to add any that oil additive since the Detroit has no clutches.

Ditto to what Esteban said..............no additives necessary. Just change the oil after this weekends fun at TSF, or within 500 miles. Scottie told me there is no real break in with a Detroit but that changing the oil is a good idea.

    Congrats!
