Detroit soft locker

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by fireinthehole, Oct 27, 2002.

Anyonehave one of these, and if so, do you like it? Is is an easy install or sould someone that know gears, etc... do it? Want to put something in my 14 bolt, but dont really want to spend money on labor.
    Thanks for the help.

Last time I checked the Soft Locker was a full case locker. So labor would be the same.

<font color="blue">The 14 bolt Detroit is a drop-in type locker. You still need to set the side bearing preload and baclash though.
