Anybody have a good diagram of how the components go together in the heater core box? Seems when I replaced my heater core I put one of the flaps in wrong, which is a bummer since I was attempting to use my neighbors 3/4 Ton GMC as a template.

If you're talking about the big flap @ the end closest to the heater core, mine would only go in one way. The rod that goes through the box would only go in if the flap was in the right position. I suppose that if you were off 180 degrees, you could get it in wrong. Sorry I don't know of a resource for pics but this may give some insight.

    Good Luck,

Not sure, well, I'm getting my new motor installe din a few weeks, will have them fill with H20 only, so that I can drain it real quick & take that damn box apart again. I'm 99% sure I put it together right, But you never know. Was hoping someone had a Dealers repair manual with pics, they could scan
