I bought a shaft from them and they seemed like good people, but be sure that you are very specific about what you want. They sent me a shaft without the CV joint, even though I told I wanted what they showed in their ad. They didn't argue a bit when I wanted to send it back for a refund, though it took a few months and another letter to get the check in hand. I ended up going to a local shop, a bit more expensive, though.

IF you are in NC, I have had good luck with Brakes Inc. In Raleigh NC for any driveshaft work. Ask for Jerry. They charged me $125 to lengthen my rear shaft and upgrade to larger Ujoints. They have a seperate shop where they balance and fab 'shafts.

Just had the make 2 new shafts for the Chalet....dropped a NP205 into her 2 weeks ago...no complaints here...cost me 4 bills for 2 new shafts. She drives fine and no vibrations.

I have called them before about a front shaft and I was not impressed!
I put a set of 6" Superlift Superrides in the front of my Jimmy and Dick told me that, that was too much lift and my driveshaft would be hitting the crossmember and the angles were too extreme, etc, etc,etc........

So at the present time I just installed a spacer from Superlift.
My brother bought a fornt shaft for his TJ from Six States, now Tom's Driveshafts I think, Tom was great and the service was excellent and he never had a problem with it.

    I would go to Tom's!!!

I've also used Dick's Driveshaft and they did great work, all new parts. The shaft was larger diameter and thicker wall then the factory unit. What ever you do, don't go to Mesa Driveshaft (house of thieves).
