Wow, I dont care much for motorcycles but those were the coolest rides I have ever seen, not tacky grease ball choppers. I would almost trade my K5 for one.........naw. I like how the threads stripped out of the $8000 billet aluminum engine block...I think I would ask for a refund. I would give anything just to hang out with those guys and go riding some day...cool.

Yeah - watched it all!! Sarah even sat with me through both episodes PLUS the show on the new Harley V-ROD that came on right before it. I thought the show on how the V-ROD was developed was facinating! Pretty cool - for a Harley! I'd buy one!

I seen part 1, the the V-Rod, and part 2 after that. Part 2 I think was better, it showed him heating and hand bending the tubes. westcoastchoppers.com Its a pretty kool site.

He seemed to have all the toys but also seemed like he was on the verge of being flat broke too ........ It was a neat story to see how his hard work and his love for motorcycles finally landed him a spot up there with the big boys. The boy has the mad skills for fabricating ....... it's becoming a lost art. I just wish I could do something I love like those guy do !

Being a body man I was completely amazed at his skill to take a flat piece of sheet metal and make it what ever he wanted. That is a lost art. People just dont do that stuff anymore. I would love to have access to the toys he had so I could at least try it. An English Wheel is something you dont see every day. I have been in body work almost 15 yrs and have never seen one in person. I would love to try my hand at it!

Yup, it sounded like he had a hard time finding all those toys that he uses ........... another thing I liked was the guy who does all his seats for him ........... who knew sewing wasn't just for girls ? I took a sewing class back in high school and got laughed at by all the guys, but I'll be damned if I can't fend for myself ! Besides, I was in a classroom full of girls ...... not so stupid after all. LOL !

The Eng. Wheel is available thru Eastwood. The automated Hammer thing I have never seen before. The sand bag and the specialty hammers are also avail. thru Eastwood. Some of the hammers are hand made tho.

I took a home ec. class in Jr high. Was I ever a fool, just lonely ole me in a class, working in groups, ETC. w/ 15 girls. *insert big evil grin here*

Its hard to imagine how he could be flat broke when his bikes start at $60k huh! But I was listening to an interview with him on discovery.com and he was saying how all these celebrities think they should get a free bike because they are famous. He said yeah right, they should pay more!! I like that attitude, I would want to argue with him. Did anyone see the viper he built on PHR TV? Bad to the bone...he has taste! I would like to see what he would do with a K5!! Blue pearl with orance and green flames with a maltese cross on the hood, some 20" wire wheels with an airbag susp...[IMG]
