did burbs come in one ton?

    did the burbans come in one ton..i think they came in 3/4 ton right so they would have a one ton to right?..how come they only made the blazer half ton then?

    I dunno...I THINK the burbs come in 1/2 & 3/4...I'm probaly wrong though

    NO....only 1/2 and 3/4 tons.

    1/2-ton and 3/4-ton was all you could get in the Suburbans. It's still that way today. They sorta made a 3/4-ton K5, it was called the Suburban. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

    Nope, no 1 ton Burbs were available nor made.

    Contrary to what some other say, I have never heard nor seen a K30 Burb since some say the government had some. Still want to see proof of that though. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

    There is a guy on offroadlist.com that built one. He used an M1008 and a civ 'burb. He is very confidant that there was never a Mil-Spec 1 ton 'burb. I have not researchd the issue myself, though.
     
  7. Some dealers sent a few 3/4 tons to local shops to custom build into duallies, hence the 1 ton even though the front was still rated as 3/4 !! There are actually quite a few of these weird looking burbs running around our vast countryside.
