did they use the 700r4 in the 88-up trucks..?

    what years did they use the 700R4 in 88-up trucks if they did at all? and is it the same as the older (89-91 blazer, subs or w/e) trucks?

    700r4=4L60/E...so yes they did...albeit under a different name

    just wondering..there was a 88 3/4T 4x4 with a 350 and plow that "ran great" for 1200 bucks..dunno how good the body was but it had no reverse..i dunno..ive been towing with the idea of buying trucks and fixing them up and reselling them..dont think i have the time or moeny really though /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    Yea 88 up 700r4 and what not But i swapped a TH350 in mine after the r4 puked 3 times with in 2 years
