89' with 700r and it only does it after pulling a trailer for a short time. I'll go to back the boat or trailer up and the damn thing dies. The volt meter will peg out to the left as soon as I put it in reverse. I have to ride the brake and gas it at the same time and the volt meter still is pegged out(nothing will get there attention at the lake like a reverse stall with ssr's) Could it be something with the trailer wiring or is it the damn tranny. Anyone else had this problem? Need some input. Thanks!!!!!!

TAKE HER TOP OFF, AND ROLL HER IN THE MUD!!!!

Sounds like wiring, just not sure why. Prolly something with the reverse light wiring. Try unplugging the trailer next time and see if it still does it.
