Who (in anyone) makes headers for the 6.2? I will be geting a military blazer (eventually) and I hope to improve the performance without adding a turbo (that's for later, since it'll be half of what I pay for the truck).

There is a company named Stans Headers that makes them. They are the only ones that I know of. I dont know if they have a website, but I called them last year and they wanted something like 400 bucks for them. In my opinion they are not worth it and if I were you Id save up and get the turbo cause there is no other mod you can do to get the power level over 250 hp. However, you could try to pick up some exhaust manifolds from one of the newer 6.2s. I believe that the older ones are a 1 7/8 or 2 inch outlet and newer ones are 2.5. That and a high flow exhaust would be better for power and cheaper too.

If you're up for a little scrounging the humvees used headers (shorty style), I ran a set on my '84 blazer a few years ago. They'll make some gain HP wise with the pump cranked up, but they also make considerably more noise. A turbo is definately better in the long run.
