    who uses them, do you have pics of them, what do they cost. teh reasons i ask is because i am going to make one for my self, and i want to see whats out there and what i will save by making my own. thanks

    i have the avalanche guards front and rear on my D60 and 14 bolt....i have hit the rear one kinda hard and all it did was scratch it...

    i have this one, but it's made with tubing and it's not strong enough for real rock bashing.

    This is the one I made for my 14 bolt and I have another one just like it but a little bit taller on the front.Its almost 3/8" thick.I like not having any flat surfaces on the front and rear surfaces of the difs to get hung up on.I can sorta ramp over stuff that hits the cover most of the time.

    As for cost,the metal was free /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But the labor I spent was about 10-12 hours per gaurd. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
