Diff. in 6.2 and 350 flywheel dust covers?

    I'm not the one that swapped the 350 into my truck, it was already there. Every time I hit the gas just a little on takeoff, I can hear a nasty rattling. It turned out being the flywheel hitting the dust cover. Do you think it could be the dust cover from the diesel motor, and it doesn't fit right on the 350? I know the motor mounts have something to do w/it, but I was just wondering. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    I know the dust cover for the flywheel from my 350 did not fit once the 6.2 was in there. The shape of the pan is different at the rear...what tranny do you have?
