Is there a difference between a 4x4 th350 and a regular? I think I need a rebuild because my truck kicks real hard when I either come to a complete stop or when I start going from a stop. This doesn't happen every time but the majority of the time. Also, sometimes it doesn't shift into third. If it needs a rebuild, I don't wanna pay 700-800 dollars for it to be done because I wont get that much out of a new tranny. I was planning to buy a slightly used(10,000 to 20,000 miles) tranny and just pay labor to have it installed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The only difference is the output shaft on a 4x4 tranny is much shorter than a 2WD tranny. Also if it is a K case then it is different from a 2WD case in that a K case is thicker.
