difference in 5 speed tranny from 95 to a 2000 model

    need to replace my tranny in my 95 sonoma, 2.2 5 speed, have an offer on a 2000 model what kinda of differences am I gonna face, troubles with swap etc. other than the shifter location

    There are some differences in the type of hydralic slave, some are internal and some are external to the transmissions. I don't know if they changed after 96 but ours is an internal slave.
