    Hi,
I have a np 205. It is a 10 spline input shaft for a manual.
My confustion is this, The adaptor dosen't have the hourglass/race track bolt pattern on the front face. It is pretty much circular and has a raised bevaled ring around the opening.
Is this possibly for a SM420?, or those weak three speeds that some K5s had? any info would help. Thanks

No that is a late model 205. Post1980 I think that is the year they changed to that style. If that is not right someone tell us what year they did change? My 1986 1 ton dually has the same pattern and it is a fixed yoke. Is yours a fixed yoke?

Not positive what year, but shouldn't it have 32 splines if it's a late model?

it has the 10 spline for a manual, the guy I bought it from said he pulled it from a early 70s K5. I'll try to get a picture of it.
    Thanks guys

    sounds like a mix'n'match
10 spline input gear in a late 80s one ton case
should have the new 32 like was previously stated
