Different BS options on 15x10, 8on6.5\" wheels?

I am trying to trackdown a set of wheels for when I swap in my D60.

I called fourwheelparts and they said I could only get a 15x8 in 4.25" BS...

I KNOW some of you are running like 3.25BS on 15x10" wheels with an 8-6.5" lug pattern...

So spill the beans what are the backspacing options for a 15x10 wheel with 8-6.5" and WHERE did you get them...? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    Thaks gang...

4 Wheel Parts has them in 2.5, you just have to be an ass about them and make them look.

    Barts come in 3 1/2 I believe.

Eatons come in some various backspacings.

Does Eaton have a website for their wheels?

Also do you think hanging some big azz tires out that far with only 2.5" of BS will overwhelm anyhting on a D60 or 14bfF?

I doubt it but it'd look stupid IMO and catch on every obstacle off road not to mention what it'd do to your paint and your vision from slinging stuff all over the place.

My personal opinion is that 4.25 is the way to go. Tuck that stuff in!!

I know I would like somthing in the 3.5 to 4.25BS range but can't find diddly...

I think 4.0" would be Ideal for me since it would save me some grinding on the D60 Calipers

Don't know if you're completely set on a 10" wide rim, but think about this:

    option 1) 15x10" w/ 4.25" backspacing = major grinding on a D60
    option 2) 15x8" w/ 2.75" backspacing = little to NO grinding

and, the rims/tires will actually stick out less with option #2.

A little first-hand story, I got my 15x8" rims from 4wpw and ordered them with 4.25" bs. When they arrived at my door, they were 2.75" bs (that's 4wpw for you)....that was the best mistake I think I've ever received by mail. No grinding, the front is still tucked under my fenders okay, and the rear tires line up really well with the body. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

So if I walk into the discount here in Fort Collins they can order custom BS wheels for me? Is there a certain Mfg. I should tell them to call or a certain book to look in?

I got my eatons with 3.5" BS from national wheel and tire (or is it tire and wheel /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif) From what I have heard the standard BS is now 3.75". You can get other BS but you have to pay extra for it.

I have also heard of some people on pirate4x4 getting custome BS wheels from Summit. The only thing they had to do was ask for them to be not painted and they got them for like $30 each with custom BS in about a week /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Might want to do a search there and find out the name of the salesman they talked to.

As far as Discount Tire goes ask the sales guy to call "unique wheel" and ask for a 8 lug 15" white spoke, and specify the bs you want (2.5" or 4.25 is in stock). He can also have unique custom make them in any bs you want for an extra $10. Same goes for the 16" and 17" steel. I know this guy who works there really well and hooks up 15" with 2.5 bs easily.
