WTF is right. i've been in bars in dallas and had dimebag stroll in and chill with people. i saw pantera with soulfly, nothingface and morbid angel in the fair park colleseum with about 1500 other people. the most intense concert i've ever experienced. may the rock gods welcome him. ::rockingouthardcoresmiley::

I cannot believe this either. :( who the hell would run onto stage and sacrifice their own life to take out dimebag!?

I remember going to a pantera concert a few years ago and they blew me away.. I was really looking foreward to seeing damageplan come around on tour so i could see them shred again.. Dimebag and Vinnie are two huge musical inspirations to me and a lot of my friends..
Dimebag is one of the greatest guitar players of all time. He will truly be missed.
    This sucks.

What a horrible day. This a great loss for the rock world. Darrel was a very down to earth guy. I remember seeing Pantera at Joe's Garage about 15 years ago and being blown away. I have since hung out with him and his brother a number of times and can only say they were ALWAYS the coolest. Never anything but COOL.
I drove my Blazer , back when it was a Blazer with the exo cage, no doors and such, out to Deep Ellum years ago and he totally went off, It was the coolest, He always said he wanted to go wheelin with us and check it out, but never happened....

I can say this, Dimebag, you will be missed.
missed by those that new you, your music and youfreindship

    Much Love
    Nash
