Here is what we did tonight. Just figured I would torture you a little bit.
Here is a nice pic of the steaks on the grill. No it is not a charcoal grill but it still heats....
BTW they are about 2" thick. The good ones.

Here is a nice shot of the steaks on the grill with a beer in the foreground. Can't you just taste it???
The Hefe kicks major ass. Get some if you can find it, you'll like it.

Here you can see Katy helping me out with the grilling (getting me beer).....

    We had The potatoes too....

Not pictured is the corn on the cob. Figured since it was not from Cheese Head land (Wisconsin) I should just leave it out. It was good, but not near that good.

Yes it is Merlot, Yellow Tail.

The steaks are NY Strip. Normally we would do Rib Eye.
    Marinated for 4 hours in:

    1/2 Bottle Oatmeal Stout
    Worcestershire
    Lots of Garlic cloves (chopped)
    Sea Salt
    Montreal Steak Seasoning
    1/4 cup Italian Dressing

Grill it hot to sear the outside then lower the heat until done.

4 potatoes (i like red potatos which means you'll need bout 8) - diced
put in a freezer ziploc w/a couple tablespoons of virgin olive oil.
1 pkt of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix. Shake bag to coat potatos and cook in a skillet. Serve with a cold beer and a hot wife.
