Just got all the pics uploaded from last weekend. Didn't get as many pics as I would have hoped but we pretty much stayed behind the wheel all day and unfortunately a dead camera battery hindered more pics. Anyway, we had a blast /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Once again Steve Sharpe (the first gen on 44's) took my K5 places I would have never tried. I also got by one place where others were having trouble, but I won't get into that. Well, let's just say open difs can get you places where locked difs can't /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Daniel (DP_90K5) did a great job of picking trails as well

    Enjoy!!

    And for the Heep pics....

    (Psssttt, Daniel get your camera)

This was a result of the Rock Race (explained below)

Russ Hogan of Hogan's Offroad Park did this also... Rock Race

All and all, there was only very minor damage. I caught the front tires on the back edge of my fenders, a tree rubbed across the bedside of my dad's K30 and a rock dinged the edge of one of Daniel's wheels. I think we did good considering how close some of the trails were.

Ohh and there will be a Disney clean-up on Dec 13th at 10:00 am. Who's gonna be there??

Looks like fun and you got some good pictures too.
Is it just me, or is there no pictures of the 1st gen on 44's that was mentioned?

Ha Ha! That was my first time back in there and we didn't have a map - so I wasn't sure what we would get into. But Ronnie and Ross were both willing to try about anything! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The three of us went on the Ho Chi Mihn Trail forward (4) and backward(4.5). That was a lot of fun and was fairly easy except for the half pipe - WHICH WE WILL NOT DISCUSS!

We then met up with Steve and the other BIG BOYS and they took us on Hogan's Revenge (forward only 4). That was a little more challenging - for Ross anyway since he's open in front and back.. But with Steve's spotting ability, we all made it without any serious damage.

The trip was great and a hellafun! I am ready to go back. Actually I wasn't ready to leave Saturday.

Not so much a first gen anymore, but I have seen it go through many stages. It's about as bomb-proof as they come!

Daniel took you on the Easy trails! Ahh, just kidding. There aren't many "Easy" trails at Disney! The pics definately don't do justice. Did you by chance get a name of some of the trails you hit?

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, the pics don't do any justice at all.

Did you get a little Pucker?

My first time up and down the Half Pipe was in the Dark. All I saw was a pair of taillights ahead of me drop out of sight. I had to get out and prop myself against a tree just to look down hill to see the taillights again. Needless to say, nothing works on those hills - meaning, dont worry about brakes or crawl ratio, best thing is to get in and hang on and pay attention to trees on the way down! Oh, and bring a change of undies for the bottom of the hill. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    Exactly!

We all made it going forward on the trail, but when we turned around it was a different story! Let just say I am glad Ross was there to help in the recovery of a couple 1 tons! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That guy was a joke. He was standing there when I took the picture of it. He said it was a "temporary" fix cause he was in a hurry! Yeah right!
