I was told to take the cap and rotor off of the distrubutor to get to the module, then unplug and un-bolt the black box that is inside. There isn't really anything inside the cap. Is the dist module the litte thing that the two plugs go into? There isn't anything else on the distributor, so im guessing that this is it, but I wan't to be sure!!

    Thanks!!!

That's it! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif The new one will come with a little capsule of grease. You MUST smear the grease on the back of the new module before you install it, or it will burn itself up in a very short time. It needs to be able to transfer the heat it generates to the plate that's under it. The grease is a thermal conductor that helps with the heat transfer.
