I had a blast, pictures of the Titanic are going across brige on trail 7,then up to trail 8. Other chevys are on trail 11 and these guys broke steering boxes, front axle shafts, bolts that go into Dana 60 front housing to hold spring, lost beads on tires-they were in the OHV park all night http://www.tennessee4x4.com/rocketcity/dixie_run_2k.htm

Man those poor guys that spent the night on traill 11! hope they had some camping gear. Were they with your club? Some of the guys from my club hauled them in tires on Sunday and helped them get the truck back together. I followed them up to that side of trail 11. Then a few of us went up 3 to 11 on the other side and walked School bus and took a look at Helicopter pad.

The smaller lifted chevy guy is Kevin Grant and he is in our club. His friend, (Joe), was a guest and built his truck in 3 weeks! How would you like your first offroad trip to be at Tellico?

Hehe you havn't been to Beasley Knob have you? That was my first trip in a stock 79 with some crummy Uniroyal A/T's Delamentate a tire and the tread was pealing off. Not quite Tellico Trail 11 but it was deffinatly a lot for me when I was green and stock. Beasley is getting pretty tough the last couple of years especialy in the rain. Took out the passenger side there on lower rattlesnake and a bud has had his only lay over there, that was Toby Till. Steve Turek From the Renegades totaled a built Cherokee there at the convention in June and even the Extreme ridge runners got off the trail because of the rain it was just to dangerous after they recovered Steve's XJ and those guys are serious hard core! the Small truck with them was on 38's the rest were on 40's and some on 44's.
Man that was a great weekend (Dixie) seemed like most of the year the weather was horible every time I went wheeling. Even with it cold in the Mornings it was awsome in the afternoon! can't wait till next year!
