I will be in either Late Thursday eve or EARLY Friday morning. Is everybody still wanting to hit trail 9 at the earliest ride?

Yeild2Me are you gonna camp or hit a motel. If its a motel, you will still want to go to the campground to find out where and what time the ride leaves.

i think we are going to camp this time. i hate being outta the loop and trying to search for everybody!! let me know the best places to camp, and when and where i need to go to register or signup for the runs in case i cant find you guys. i dont think that will be a problem, but i like to have a back-up plan [IMG].

I would say sign up as we arrive, thats how they have been doing it. Just make sure to ask for the trail run that has trail 9 on it and that starts the earliest on Saturday morning.

Yeild2Me, the best place to camp to be with everybody else is in the main campground. If you have not already registered, you will have to do it there and it will be 10 bucks extra I think. Goto the www.sfwda.com site and check out the Dixie Run link, it will give all the information. We can try and save you a spot with us or maybe Jim can Grim can try and save you a spot with them.

You register and sign up for the trail rides in the main camp on Friday night.

depdog, yep, i signed up back when it was 60 bucks, so that part is taking care of. if someone could save me a spot, that would be great. i am not too familiar with the area, only been up there once, so diections to the main camp would be great. i will be pulling a small trailer with my swampers, tools, etc. i am off friday and monday, but kristen has to work, but, may be able to leave early. i am wanting to leave here by noon to put us there around 8 pm. i will need to put my 38's on, and remove my drawtite before hitting the trails. no big deal, just a matter of finding 45 minutes of time to do it. if any of you guys have a cell phone, let me know in case we run into trouble on the way. what channel on the cb do you plan on using? sorry for all the ?'s, just trying to get all this stuff done now so i can concentrate getting the truck/trailer ready now that the clock is REALLY ticking!!! [IMG]

should be a blast!!!!!!!cant wait to wheel!!!

one thing though, i still dont have a winch. been trying to get one, but no luck. is this gonna be a problem???

Well, as far as the camp ground, do you remember how you went to town last time and on the way back tot he trails, you had to make that last right hand turn onto Davis Creek Road? It was the last turn you made from one paved road to another. Instead of turning on Davis Creek, keep going straight and in a few more miles you will run into the Camp Groud. At around 8 p.m. you should have no problem finding somebody to follow in from town in any case. Go to the sfwda web site and there are directions and GPS cord. for the campground on the side in Acrobat PDF format. I will email you my cell phone number, give Keith and Grim an email and ask them for theirs. One of ours is sure to work. On the C.B. we are gonna scan chjannel 4 till the ride on Saturday a.m. and then it will change according to the trail leader. We will also scan channel 4 on the family channel radios.

I should be there Friday night, late night, maybe midnight or so. 13 hour drive for me.
Can't wait though!! If everyone is signing up for trail 9, then that's what I'll do.

Yield, PM me your cell #, I'll give you mine too. But I'll probably arrive later than you. I'll be camping with Deps club (thanks Dep!! [IMG])
    See yall this Friday!!

this may sound stupid,,,,,but what should i bring in the way of firewood, beer (if allowed in the camp), and other stuff besides the obvious.

man, time is running out, and the d@mn clock keeps on spinning!! should have about 80 percent of the major stuff done though!!

You can have beer in the camp, just not on the trails or in the park.

yeah, i remember the no beer on the trails part, but wasnt sure about at the camp ground. i remember last time i went to get a six-pack and drove to EVERY store in town until i was told its a dry county or whatever. cool, nothing like sippin' a cold one after the trail and all aquired damage is repaired!!!

    got to get to work!!

I just finished all my electrical fixes (they always get done last, I see enough wire at work) and no more leaks at the trans/x-fer case. Man I am ready to GO. Too bad I can't leave untill Fri PM. See everyone there.

i hear ya jim.....i am not going to have time to re-wire my KC's, but i did get my rock-lites hooked up. and, i too had a t-case leak that was fixed sat. the dual lip seal on the input shaft of my t-case was bad, which caused the ATF to run in to the t-case, which overflowed out the slipyoke. its been like that for about 4 years, but i just now got around to doing it!!!! no leaks now!!

we are going to leave friday morn. and should be there around 2 or 3 pm
