My '87 K5 was in the shop to have the wheel bearings replaced, and the mechanic inquired as to who had put my lift on. I was under the impression that I was driving stock. I am running 33 BFG MT's and experience a little rubbing when turning on sharp inclines. Does anyone know how I figure out if I have a small body lift or an add-a-leaf or something? Thanks!

Stock front springs will have a negitive arch to them.
Positive arch springs are curved like a U. And most likely blocks will be used for the rear axle.
A body lift will leave gaps at the front and rear bumpers and the pucks are pretty noticeable.
Alot of folks are running 33's and stock springs.
Most likely if you are rubbing with 33's you do not have a lift.

I agree. You can run 33's on these w/ only minor rubbing.
Also, in addition to the negative arch in the front springs, it should also only be two leaves. If you have more it may be an add-a-leaf.

If you have a front HD suspension ( like mine ) it will have 3 leaves stock, and ride stiff as hell!

look where your body mounts to the frame. There should be a rubber puck between the frame mount and the bottom of the body.if you see any kind of spacer between the puck and body or frame it might have a body lift on it.
