Maybe Yeager. Did you call them and ask how you would know? If they can't help you there, call Summit and see if they can help you find out.

Well, I can tell you what they look like, but then you're purty hands'll get dirty : )

"Self Aligning" is the same thing as a rail rocker. The rockers align themselves by having two small "rails" at the tip of the rocker, which are on either "side" of the valve stem. (front and rear of truck "sides" if that helps) Anyway, just imagine two bumps on the tip of the rocker, that keep the rocker from moving side to side on the valve stem. Thats all there is to it.

Just talked to a guy that deals with car SBC's moreso than I, he suspects 90's were when the trucks got self aligning rockers. Just for example, Vortec heads are designed for self aligning rockers.

Why insist on counting when the ring gear has the tooth counts stamped in?

The reason Im asking is that when I get my vortecs, Im hoping I can use the ones off my 90 heads to keep from spending another 100 on the rockers. Thats all. I know what the old ones look like So I'll have to wait and see I guess.

Hey,
does that kernefalator have a dual or single ribbleflavell bracket on the articulator?. I heard the one with the single bracket is prone to cracking, especially if they have been chrome plated. I think I can fix that with SILLYCONE though.

Well, I tend to round everything off to the nearest hundredth, so thats why I said $100. Hopefully I have them, but if not, 100 dollars will cover them. [IMG]
