i would like the 9012s but there too rich for my blood, from what I hear the 9012s are the longest shock you could buy and thats what I need but I don't need them to be adjustable. Is there anything other shock that is as long, and what does the 12 mean, im guessing for a 12" lift? thanks for any help

Yes, the 12 means 12" of lift, therefore RS5012s are 12" long just like the 9012s. I have 5004s now, I think I'll save up the extra few weeks and get the 9000 series. The 5000s are valved a little too firm for me.

    Yep, got some. 5012.

the 12 is travel in inches (mine went to 13" or so, fully extended) Those suckers are way-long.

Yeah, they make them in the 5000 series. I have those 5012's on my 85 K30 with the 4" lift.

Yes they do, but explorer pro comp has the exact same shock, about $15 cheaper. Exact same shock, made at exact same place. I'm going with procomps. Dont know the part number off my head but any shop will be able to tell you.

I too like Procomp (same thing as Rancho). As soon as I blow my Rough Country shocks I'll put some Procomp (same thing as Rancho) shocks on. [IMG]

PS: Procomps are the same thing as Ranchos...just easier on your wallet. [IMG]

Thats what I heard, too. Rancho also MAKES the Pro Comp stuff and Pro Comp just uses their own stickers for name brand.

haha, i was wondering if anyone from Tenn would take offense to that. I just love texas country music...REK and all that follow in his wake. I love the pride that it represents, the true grit of real situations, and the fact that nobody else really gets it, especially nashville. So that's what you get.
