Thinking about getting the www.trimspa.com ones. They have a gaurantee for 110% if it doesn't work for you they give you your money back, plus more. Anyone used these before?

almost all diet pills are speed of one sort or another. they rev up your metabolism to pass everything through without absorbing as much of the (nutrients, vitamins, minerals) calories or fat.
just get some dexatrim and clean, clean, clean.

Eric, the ingredients that actually make this stuff work are guarana and ma houng (ephedra). Guarana is speed. Ephedra increase blood pressure significantly and can have some dangerous side effects.

Yes, it will probably work. But it might kill you first.

I would be the first one to jump on the feed me a pill to drop weight bandwagon, but none of this stuff is regulated. I think it's too much of a risk. If you want to take something, get a good amino acid mix ( a protein drink like ProMax), take chromium picolinate, drink lots of water and start working out aerobically. Do long distance type aerobics, where you walk, trot, whatever, but the whole time you can still talk without being breathless. For 20-30 minutes a day. Then do some weights every other day. Lay off the junk food. And you'll lose weight.

I lost 20 pounds in 3 months off of metabolife but I lost a lot of muscle mass too. I was on the atkins diet for the last 3 weeks and lost 14 pounds of pure fat and gained 7 pounds of muscle mass. But you cant eat any carbs...bread, cookies..etc. It sucked. I would rather be fat than that miserable!

I aksed my doctor about the pills and he said they were very dangerous.

Take an ex-lax before you eat at every meal /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Seriously though, you have to learn how to eat right and excersise cause with pills, you won't learn how to maintain it. Plus, you'll be malnurished...

I lose weight like crazy on the "low-carb" or Atkins type of diet. There are alternatives and you can have salty nuts, cheese, meat, veggies, some fruits - and I indulge in a low-carb chocolate bar just about every day. I don't miss the pasta and bread that much. Rather be thin. I have lost 15# since a little after Easter and hope to drop at least 9 more. I won't go back to eating the way I used to (I hope) because it was very unhealthy. I will add in some baked potatoes and whole grains when I get to the maintenance point. If you have any questions I'd be happy to help. I need some chocolate now ;-) Low carb of course.

You have to watch their money back guarantee. My wife bought some weight loss pills and you had to use them for 30 days before you could return them for the money back guarantee, but you had to return them before the 30 days was up. What a rip off that was. She lost a few pounds but ended up getting pregnant again. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif We don't really know if they worked that well or not.

About a year ago I got off the "Jenny Crank" diet. I may be fat now, but I'm much happier. Also now a roll of foil lasts longer the a week.
