I have a skool project that we have to do a newsletter for a non-profit orginization. My group is a team of future PR/news writing professionals. I would still have to OK this with the Prof. but i think it would be fun!

Lemme know. I would need Dan's OK, but i would absorb the print cost and mail it out.

I don't think the club really needs a newsletter, since we all meet HERE.....but I completely understand about the "resume building" aspects of what you're offering, so GO FOR IT!

It's the kind of thing that might be great for "under the wiper" placements when we see K5's that need to know who we are!!! A few nice articles, the web address, and some basic info about why we're so great!!! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Also, never miss an opportunity to convey that we're all about "Tread Lightly"....and "Pack It In, Pack It Out"....with all the land grabs going on right now, it never hurts to do a little self-promotion for the 4x4 interests either.......

i see what you are saying. but this could be a schedule of events, a mailer in case others have been too busy to post, to let them know what the clubis up to, up-coming trips, etc.

Can it have a section like Easy Rider, maybe something like "Granite Girl of the Month?"

    Zakk,

Maybe you could do like they do in the Mercury News "How I Stay Fit" feature. They choose a person, and give bacic information about who they are and what they do for a living, and then the talk about their workout methods or activities to stay in shape.

Of course WE wouldn't talk about THAT stuff....you could feature a NOR-CAL member and talk about the number of years they've been wheeling, favorite types of trails, and some information about their personal life, as well as highlighting their vehicle and the mods they've made.

Might be kind of neat to learn slightly different stuff about people we already "think" we know! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
