I love my job - and the people I work with too!! But only working 9-10 days a month makes for a much more pleasant environment/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Case in point
I get to work and have to install a radiator, no sweat. Ya right.
The Idiot at the desk quoted the guy 5 hrs R&R, day shift has 4.5 hrs into it getting it out. 1.5 hrs are sunk into it just pressure testing it.
I clock on and it looks like Jerry's kids took it apart.
I walk around for 20 min swearing at them for taking off stuff that should not have been removed.
It takes me 5.5 hrs to put the puzzle back together.
All the while the custemer is going WTF.
He is a waiter.
I am hourly and not flat rate but it still is a 5 hr hit on my efficiency, which I get a bonus if I am over 100% at the end of the month.
Today I was at 106% monday I will prolly be at 92% and will never make it up.
Tuesday when I get to work I will bitch real loud, i took it in the wazoo last month for the same sort of deal.
the idiots at the desk cost me a $200 bonus because they bid a job wrong.
I took a 14 hr hit last month and am still pissed about that.
But I do like what I do, I can't think of anything else that I would rather do .
