In most states on the front of the vehicle you can only have lights that are orange or white or any shade in between like yellow ie worn lenses. On back it can only be orange or red except for the license plate light which has to be white.

In Colorado all those little rice burner lights on the windshield washer squirters that are other colors are illegal. I love that law. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Do you mean the bulbs or the whole turn signal itself? All the signal is a clear plastic box with a yellow bulb... you should be able to pull them at a junk yard for cheap if you you need the actual signal itself.... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

you can mount whatever as long as it blinks when it is supposed to, can be seen, and is within the color restrictions. In the street truck world guys with late 80's and early 70's trucks would mount them to the radiator support behind a phantom grill, kinda cool, can't seem em until they were on.

The front turn signals can be white or amber. I have a old set of fog lights mounted to my front bumper as turn signals.
