Mine started hurting Saturday afternoon. They hurt like a bitch, and it shot a few nice pains to me. Now it's, well....now, and they still hurt slightly, but nothing like Saturday. I don't recall doing anything to strain them. What gives?

you might want to go see a doctor... what if your appendix is about to explode or something? seriously, you could be dying... go see a doctor. If it is an unexplainable ab malfunction, which would be more than a little weird, it'll be no big deal. Always good to see a doc tho...

It's easy to tear or strain muscles without realizing, especially if you're cold. If it's easing don't worry. If it's lower abs and could possibly be 'internal'....go see a doctor.

to start out with, it was hurting from my sternum to my lower abs. the next day, it eased off to where it was just the lower abs. it's still sensitive if i push on it, but no where near what it was.

Oh yeah. I did some "research" on WebMD, and it said it may have been a stomach virus. I was nauseus for like a minute Sat. night and was running a fever of 99.3 Sunday.

Who knows what's going on with me....HAHA!

Do you hav any nausea and somtimes feel like you have to throwup? I had some stomach pain that would come and go and it ended up beeing kidney stones. You should go see the doc to check it out.

    small engine tech??..

Have you been pulling recoil starters on small engines???...I seem to get a bad shoulder pull or backache when tugging on those rope start engines, and more than once the pain went down farther than my back..nothing worse on the human body than pull starting an engine,IMO..

Could have been food poisoning too,or a stomach virus...alcohol poisoning too!...bad batch of hooch can cause internal discomfort, and stiff sore muscles....

Heck, just sitting wrong can screw you up..I get sore just sitting at the computer too long, and I have a bucket seat from a pickup that is quite comfy to sit in too..sometimes getting sweaty and then cooling off rapidly makes muscles ache too..I get pains in my chest often, but all the tests I had done say my heart isn't the source..doctor says its "Neurelgia",or nerve problems..right where the breastbone meets the ribs..:(

Yeah I have something like that. I believe the doctor here called it Chostochodritis....basically an inflammation of the sternum. It's from pull starting all these engines improperly.

I did lift a stretcher that day...
