I looked a Dodge front axle yesterday. It had 3 u-bolts and 2 studs in the casting, but it had balljoints, not kingpins. Is it a D44? Its from a '76 P/U.

60F or 61F should be cast somewhere up front. Avoid the D61 if that's what that is, they are hard to convert to lower ratio's. I have heard some D60's were balljoint, but I've never seen one personally.

I just went and looked at such a critter, it was in an 80's 3/4 ton Dodge.
Ball joints and the Dodge fawked up version of a full time front axle.

I figured it out after a little more research over on the R/C board. Its a D44. Thanks for the responses.
