Are the backing plates and axle shafts interchangable between the 2? Ive got an 8 lug conversion (off a chevy D44)minus the backing plates and would like to use the shafts for spares, will they work?
    Thanks!

So the backing plates should work, but the axles wont. (I wanted the whole axle not just the stub).
    Thanks!
