what the difference between a chevy D60 front and dodge D60 front? i'm pretty sure one thing i know about is that the dodge spring perches are like 1 inch or so wider, is there anything else?
    thanks

I cant tell you, but am very interested myself. I am sure they are more available and cheaper.

I thought I was wrong once,
    but I was mistaken

If I remember reading one of my magazines on an axle swap, (they installed a chevy D60 into a dodge ramcharger), the spring pads were either a little farther apart than the other. I dont remember how much. They also said the spring pads are taller on the dodge than chevy. Go find one of the trucks and take measurements if you want to be precise.

Had a friend with a Ramcharger that swapped in Chevy axles....can't remember if it was front-rear or both but said it was a bolt-up. Got another bud with an early 80's Mo-Parts half-ton with a 5 lug Dana 60 in back.
