Will Dodge knuckles work on a GM D60?
What are the differences between a Dodge and GM D60 front?

    Thanks!

Yes, they will work on the GM axle. Matter of fact, Dodge and GM share the exact same part number on the knuckles. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The hubs are different. Most Dodges run an external drive flange or lock out. Simular to the early 44's. GM 60's are internal. Otherwise interchangeable.

Yes, all are the same EXCEPT for the bearing hubs.

Dodge did have the external bearing hubs, but those are on the older D60's.
The newer Dodges, don't know exactly what years, have all internal bearing hubs.

ALL GM D60's are the internal bearing hub design.

The big difference between the Dodge and GM bearing hubs are the shape of them.
Dodge hub is more a straight-shape whereas the GM hub is more an angled shape.

    CHECK IT HERE

Hi-jacking this thread for a good cause! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Check this out for pics and such... my axle is Dodge, with Ferd outters. But I am more concerned about getting the lower bearing race out. Can anyone here help me out?

    Thanks,
    -Dan

    Just for trivia's sake /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

'91 Chevy crewcabs (91 only for some reason) have the straight (cylindrical) hubs like the Dodge rather than the tapered ones found on most K30's.

    Can't help you here as I've never seen a '90 or '91 V3500 up close. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Ooooo! Cool info, I just bought a 91 but I didn't pay attention to the hub shape - I've got to go home and look at it closer (HURRY UP 4:30!!).

I think it is like the knuckle differences,
a design change at Dana where everything made after X date gets new design
I would be cautious switching 1 knuckle, make sure details are the same as there is documented differences on this site now that Wes is ignooring for some reason
