Dodge NP205?

    Its under a mid 80's ram charger....will it work at all under a chevy without adapters and whatnot? Just curious if its even worth my time. Fixed yoke rear...wahts the spline count on those 205's? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    from what i have seen the dodge married np205 has a different spline count than any gm version. i think it is 23 spline or something like that. i'm sure you can find it in here from about 6 months back if you do a search.

    Look at Off road design on web.Their doubler article has info on all 205s.I think it says dodge is 23spline. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Dodge is 23-spline... or 29 spline for a diesel. A Ramcharger of that year should have a 208 though unless its been swapped in.

    must have been swapped in....was definately a 205 (cast iron case) if it was a 208 i'd have snagged it then and there to make my 208 fixed yoke.

    some dodges use the chev fig 8 205 casting.
    i think they were newer then the 80s but would have to defer to u2slo or books to confirm
