Way to many good things about having one but a couple disadvantages are:
Easyier for someone to steal truck or contents.
    Trees can rip them
Not a great idea for a truck that sits outside in the snow.
    Adds noise to the inside
people might hear you calling them names as you pass by. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have Specialty Top that I bought from Off Camber 4x4. It was easy to install. The hard part was getting the hard top off the vehicle. AS to the noise inside, I found it quiter than the hard top, being all the noise bounces around and off the fiberglass inside. I thouroughly enjoyed my top. I can hardly wait till it warms up a little bit in Tennessee to at least roll up the sides and back.

I like mine. Being able to pop the top fast is nice. Mine has held up to the trees but I can see where it would fail if I was not carefull.
