Does anyone know where to get GM 9.75 x 16.5\'s

I thought I had some oem chevy 16.5's bought but they turned out to be the wrong ones. Any of you guys know where to get these 9.75x16.5" rims that hold the chevy hubcap? I've got two and I have been searching for a long ass time for two more. Kind of frustrated.

I thought all the stock steelies were 16.5x6.75? that's what mine were and I've never seen wider than that.

The only stock-looking wheels that I've ever seen that were that wide had been custom made. The rim gets split in the middle and then more steel gets grafted in to make it wider.

No, I had some that size several years ago. I never really thought twice about them as I sold them. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I have seen the size you listed, 8"-something, and the 9.75" wide wheels in the 16.5" rim. Just 3 different widths are what I have seen. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Yup, I've got the 8.25's now but they are kind of shaky and since I've got two of the 9.75's I figured it would be easy to find two more. That just hasn't been the case though. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

These aren't the stock steelies that hold the hub cap, are they? Like the ones what you see on all the farm trucks...just plain steel wheel with no fancy holes or anything. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Wes, they could be...my stock steelies are stamped "firestone". I guess they were bought as extra rims for snow tires at one point? Could be Pep Girls sells stock replacement or spare rims in that size...

I have 4 of them (16.5x9.75 Stock steel ones), but I think they are the kind that take the smaller hubcap in the center. I'll look next time I'm where they're at.

Yes, it's a farm truck (freshly painted) and yes, they're the plain jane ones that are white with the chrome and black hubcap with the chevy symbol in the middle. I think they hold all the chevy hubcaps, you just need hubcaps that fit arould a dana 60 hub, which I've got. Mountainexploder, if we figure out that they are the right ones and you are willing to part with them you've got a buyer. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
