i did a search, found no info.
Well I look at TSM, and they don't offer anything for a Dana 70.
We (A-Tron) are just doing the finishing touches on a disc brake conversion for the Dana 70. Give us about a week and it will be complete.
Story on the "0" EGA?
What year Dana70?
On later ones (80-upward) the wheel ends mimic the Sterling, and therefore can use the disc kit for it instead.
I am looking to do a dana 70 disc brake conversion. Any info would be appreciated.
Pretty sure these guys do 'em for D70's.
Now, that said, IIRC, D70 hubs are the same as 14BFF ... but maybe the axle tube is larger diameter? Anyway, point being that you might be able to adapt a 14BFF setup.
I think that the mounting flange at the end of the axle has a different bolt pattern. I think I recall reading on here that the D70U (hich is what I have, came off of a ford) mounting flange is the same as a D60 rear, so a D60 kit might work. I'm pretty sure one of the vendors on here offers a D70 disc kit. Try a search...here, or Pirate.
