I want to get rid of the tips I got now...all they do is cake mud,and are hard to keep clean. I wanted to cut them off and run regular 3" raw pipe that is tucked up and out of the way. Will this make the exhaust sound any diffrent? Thanks

Amen brother. I did the same on my pickup after I bought it, and it sounds great. After I get some other stuff done on the K5, I'll be reworking the exhaust and doing straight exit pipes.

Just for fun/forums/images/icons/smile.gif Cut em off, sell em to your nearest rice boy for 50 bucks, and tell him they will make 25 more horsepower on his 1-1/4' exhaust /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
