the blocks? Installed the Rancho 4" lift with 2" blocks in the rear. Installing a flip, what, does away with the blocks? Any other benefits? And opinions as to the best flip to buy. Thanks!

The most common flip (ORD style) will give 4" of lift. That would be too much for you set up with the 4" springs (now a total of 8"). I would reccomend the ORD 2.5" lift flip kit. That would let you remove the 2" block and keep your 4" springs. Or you can go to a 4" flip and use the 2" block with stock springs. There are more options but those are the ones I am most familiar with.

You have a 4" spring up front and 2" block in the rear? That would look like a major saggy butt problem! Yes a 4" shackle flip will eliminate the blocks in the rear. Most of the free/cheap ways to do it will give you about 4-5".

He probably has 2" AAL and 2" blocks in the back. So he would need to remove the AAL also or else he'll end up with 6" of lift.
