Does this seem like a fair trade 86 K5 for a 83 burb??

    83 Burb specs are

    Burb-
    4" lift (spring front, block rear)
    33" Swamper TSL LTB's
    TH350/208
    1 year old Vortec Crate Engine with a slightly hotter roller cam.
    Edelbrock Perfprmer Vortec intake
    Edelbrock Q-jet carb
    10bolts F/R, 3.73 ratio, front posi
    Dual A/C
    Power Door Locks, Power Windows, tilt


    Burb has some body damage (mostly rockers, but the rear driver 1/4 has a 'bump' too).


    86 K5 specs are
    4" lift (spring front, block rear)
    700R4 208 Recently rebuilt 700R4
    2 YR old crate motor with less the 10,000
    10bolts F/R, 4.56 ratio, front & rear posi
    Power Door Locks, Power Windows, tilt

    I would say that sounds pretty fair. It all depends on what you like more...or need more. How bad are the rockers on the burb? The only thing that really caught my eye besides the rockers is that gearing, or lack there of, for the burb. Might be an issue as far as even trading.

    He wants a K5 and I want a burb. The gearing really insn't a issue since I will put a 14bff in it anyways...

    As long as you know the guy and the truck, go for it.
    After some time in the 'Burb, you won't even miss that K 5.

    Hey Erich is a personal friend of mine. He's a stand up guy and it's a really nice suburban. If it weren't for my "love affair" with my blazer you'd be outta luck. That and Erich "knows" about my blazer /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Good luck I hope it works out for you guys.

    Don't mean to change directions here, but Erich is that ALL from flooding after the fire???

    Yep! The H20 has been moving the rocks in to some pretty ugly spots. The 'Step' was even worse than usual
