dog tracking

    ok my problem is the my truck has a death wobble and is also dog tracking what could cause the dog tracking problem any ideas it was great for a while then just one day it went crazy and everything as far as steering box draglink tierods ball joints and bearing are new /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    dag tracking is caused by rear wheel alignment, on these , that means bent axle housing , bent frame or axle housing mislocated on the spring pins

    thanks that will give me something to check i know the frame isn't bent but ican't say for the rear diff i know it is a inch difference from front of back wheel to the rear of the front wheel

    did you just put a lift on with new rear springs? get one turned around backwards?

    You mean you are seeing the 3" width difference from front to rear axle that is standard?

    the rear springs are the right way the lift has been on for 3-4 months then the wobble started found my front blocks busted so i took them out and the rear diff off set i know about theat it's if you measure from the front of the rear tires to the back of the front ones it is almost a inch off this weekend i will check for busted pins

    I did that /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif retarded as usual, took me awhile to
    figure it out. All it took was a good look from the side /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

    not blocks degreee shims that came with the kit sorry for miss wording it is a 8 inch super lift kit that is sprins all the way around and steering corrections are steering are and a draglink

    found the problem the pin for the axle alingment is bent in a 45 degree angle thanks for all the help guys
