    Howdy...

I'm doing an adaptor plate on my milling machine for dual transfer cases, using a 32spline connection.

What could possibly be the donor shaft that is cut down to use between the 203 and 205? Are they using Turbo 400 Tailshafts and respline the 203 side? A 32 spline SM465?

Help! I know you guys have a plethora of information regarding these sort of adaptors!

Why not use the intermediate shaft from the 203 cut down and resplined? That's what is generally used when a new shaft is not constructed from scratch. You might want to anneal and then re-heat-treat it too. But be careful, some people have reported breaking the cut down shafts, possibly due to bad HT...

    I measured my 32 spline shaft from my SM465 @ approx . 1-1/4" Diam

Can anyone confirm that the 203 intermediate shaft is at least this diameter?
