why the hell would i waste 5 hours at the er for that, ill just tape it up with electrical tape, not my worst or my last.

if i really cared i would just super glue it, the best way!

(IT work best really, better then a plastic sergin can do. Ask me hw i know:D)

i have a cut on my bisep of my left arm from the busteb neck of a beer bottle, was under my truck and weded in and the curved part when right in,

must have hit a veain or two because it was free bleading for 2 days!!!!!

that was funny at work, sit down for a min, and there was a pool of blood 5inchs wide on the ground!!!

    oops.

Neosporin works healing wonders if you have a tube. Pack it with that then use the band-aid type butterfly, then tape over that.

    It'll heal up faster.

I share the same affliction: blue-collar injury ignorance syndrome, or BCII Syndrome. No matter how bad it is, the idea is to finish out the day, either unaware of the severity of the injury, or to avoid the ration of sh*t the guys on your crew will give you if you "cant hack it". Sometimes I wish I was an IT programmer. Those paper cuts are probably pretty easy to fix, without tape or super glue:D

oh i hear you on the thiner!

my old job welding i used to have to clean leanths and leanths of steal tube, with industeral streanth laquer thinner! that stuff burned just on dry skin like wrists and the inside or you elbow,

well as most know the edges of tubeing are quite sharp, espeasely if you put your fingers in side ( most learn fast not to lol)

man the thinner will let you know FASt id you have a cut or scrape!

i have this stuff from watkins (the pepper and spice company) they have lots of "old farm" medicens as i call them and they have this stuff called petro carb. and it works good, if i do put anything it might be that.

I've done damage to my hands but nothing like that. Are you sure it's not worth going to the doc?

No kidding, Ive never had anything look like that short of when it took them 17 stitches to put my upper lip back in place. Most cases im a fan of neosporin and duct tape, but id seriously consider going to get that looked at.

Yeouch! I'm all for super glue and duct tape, but on the tip of a finger it'll take forever to heal. Somewhere else I may "field doctor" that cut, but get some stitches and you'll have a lot more luck not breaking it back open everytime you make a fist (or type an "F" ).

    deap?

i would say half way through my finger near the joint it sholows up nearer the tip.

the one plus side of working out side in -18*C with out the wind chill (-30*C or so with)

is i couldent even fell any f my fingers all day!!!
and when i type i just stick my pinly in the air.

my other pinky was one crushed on the tip by a 250 lb rock, cruched so bas the tip riped open and all the insides swelled out side, i taped that one up, but it keeped bugging me, so i cut off the stuff that came out.

it was then that i found out that the stuff was nerve endings!

that really really hurt. felt like someone soved a metle coat hanger in my finger up my arm in to my neck and the back of my sculk!

i would highly recomend aganst cutting any of your "inside" stuff off.

    it hurts.

I recommend getting it sewn up. An hour, and you wont need to go back, just drain it and yank the stitches out later.

AND HEY! Don't you pay tax things for all that crap Canadian health care anyway? Just do it and slap down your maple leaf flag and get it sewn up.

Just like people who refuse to carry guns, learning the folly of your ways can be very viscious and perhaps deadly
