    .....You finally get your diff set up, Back lash is good, gear pattern checks out, pinion bearing preload is good.....And your finally bolting down the last bolt on the cover...You're thinkin your in the home stretch after a LONG day of running around getting parts, gear marking compund, mooching tools from people......And you happen to look over and see your axle shafts sittin there smilin at ya?

    I always have parts left over. I usually just ignore them and hope that the truck still goes. Try it, might work for you too. lol

    Ha......But forgetting axle shafts is like forgeting to add oil after an oil and filter change. DUH.

    No problem as I'm running a full floater. I don't put the axle shafts in till everything else is back together. 8>)
