On my 89 Burban all the rubber that seals all the doors and windows its rotted to crap. What can I do to (cheaply) fix it? All my doors rattle no matter how hard I slam them (all 6 of them) (this is probably because the latches are worn out but I'm not sure)and it is really noisy to drive on the highway. Any help would be appreciated, thx

Go to your local dealership or go to www.lmctruck.com . Start with the worst door on the truck and buy the weather-
strips one at a time if you have to. No real cheap fix, just do it right once. With new weatherstrips and door hinge pins & bushings, you will swear it's not the same truck.

JC Whitney sells the door weatherstripping for about $15 per door. It's very easy to replace. The weatherstripping for the windows is more of a challenge, as the door has to come apart to replace it. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
