door swap. how hard?

    hey ya'll. im about to get some new door shells. how hard is it as far as swaping everything over, like the glass, tracks, weatherstriping, etc? any tips? thanks

    Did mine not too long ago..Weather stripping is the easy part. The glass isn't that hard- its mainly a matter of having someone there with small hands to get in the holes to hold the tracks while you bolt them on. I'm not sure what year your rig is, but if it has the vent windows- make sure you take the screw out of the top of the door- or they won't go ANYWHERE...tracks, then the glass, then the vent window, then the weather strip trim on. in that order..when you take them off the old doors- its easiest to roll the window down all the way- then unbolt the tracks,,, then pop the glass off tracks, and when you put the glass back in- keep the bolts for the tracks loose, until you get the glass lined up. then tighten them.
