    Okay, what exactly is a doubler and what are the advantages to having one?

    a doubler is a dual t-case setup, usual 2 205's mated together to give you a ridiculous low range gears for crawling.

    73 Blazer 1Ton 6inch lift, 3 inch body, 36 inch swampers
    79 3/4 ton suburban, soon to be 6 inch lift, 3 inch body, and 44 in boggers. Oh ya

    Offroad Designs web site will give you all the details but the "Doubler " is made from the reduction gear box of a 203 that is bolted to a 205 transfer case. One thing that I liked was that it made my front drive shaft angle much better and those running a manual chevy with a 6-8" lift know what I'm talking about.
