Will the Dana 44 DL work with a 60? If not whats the difference?
Yup, if you are using stock steering they are the same, I used the on from my D44 on my D60 when I did the swap /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
oops sorry I ment the ORD crossover draglink /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
/forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif, I have no clue them, I have not crossed that road yet, (keyword) YET /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
Yeah, It should be the same deal.
well, it all depends on the arms u used for both, and how much adjustment u have on your draglink, when i swapped fro a 10 bolt to a 60, i needed to shorten the draglink 3"
They're different draglinks, they're off by about 3" which runs you out of thread to cut off with the D44 draglink. Best thing to do in this case is just try to sell the draglink with the axle so it's totally ready for crossover. Then get all the D60 stuff new. It's not ideal, but it's what we have to work with.
