Are you overangling the ends? That's the first thing I'd check. If you are, you need a drop draglink or some other method to flatten the angle on the ends.

not sure but i think you have the right idea i have a 8 inch superlift no swaybar welded diff which is a 10 bolt and 38 '' tires the steering mods are a raised steering arm and a draped draglink

if i do crossover steering and change to a 60 is the arm that bolts to the nuckle the only thing different

    For the crossover, you need:
    2wd steering box
    pitman arm
    steering arm
    draglink and ends

Not much transfers from the 10 bolt axle. Actually, nothing transfers over.

did you say you have a welded 10 bolt? Spooled and welded front axles put lots of strain on steering components, you never mentioned that before.

sorry i forgot to mention the welded part i am going to put in a open carrier and limiting straps on the diff to try to cure the problem or do you think the open carrier will do the trick ????

I would say the cure is the D60 with crossover and hydro assist. Everything else is just trying to mitigate the symptoms.
